Timber Workshop provided the structural frame and sarking boards for this domestic extension in rural Buckinghamshire. The project brief centred on a minimal, modern aesthetic. Whilst the structural frame was expressed throughout, fixings and joints were kept concealed. Internal steelwork and bolted connections provided fixing points as the frame came together. The building was entirely prefabricated off site in our Devon workshop, using a combination of homegrown and imported Douglas Fir, finished with a white oil.
